Dr. Tony (aka @The5amdoc) is a chiropractor at The Centre. Although there are many ideas of what chiropractors can do, he believes his role is to show YOU what you can do for yourself. He takes a personalized approach to your recovery, and makes sure you understand every step of your journey. He does not believe in any cookie-cutter approach and ensures your plan will be tailored to your specific needs and lifestyle.

  Dr. Tony completed his BSc in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University in his home town of Halifax. Afterwards, he completed his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. There he completed extensive courses in manual therapy and earned his doctorate. He furthered his manual skills by becoming certified in Neurofunctional Acupuncture through McMaster University and is also a certified mobility specialist (FRCms®) and a Precision Nutrition Lv 1 coach.

  In addition to his practice, he is currently a part of the teaching faculty at CMCC, helping shape the minds of future chiropractors. He has been invited to speak on various platforms such as webinars, podcasts and live events to advocate for the profession and discuss his personal approach to health care.

  On a personal note, Dr. Tony has devoted beginning each morning with a workout, hence his dedicated branding; the 5am doc. Michael is a recent graduate from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) and is a registered Manual Osteopath through the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA). He was a completive powerlifter and bodybuilder from 2011-2015 with multiple first and second place finishing’s in both respective sports. After suffering a bad fall in 2015, Michael sought out every imaginable form of treatment for his back for over a year. It wasn’t until he received an Osteopathy treatment, he started to get relief and was able to get back to lifting weights at the gym and living a healthy active lifestyle.
